Acapulco has long been a popular tourist destination for people all over the world. Located in the South of Mexico, Acapulco offers visitors beautiful beaches, clear blue waters, and a great range of activities and outdoor pursuits.
Acapulco can typically be divided into three main areas which are the Playa Revolcadero, the Puerto Marquis region and Acapulco Bay. Acapulco Bay is probably the most popular area, and is a beautiful natural harbour which boasts some spectacular scenery. This area is home to many of the hotels and resorts in the region, as well as nightlife and shopping centres. The Playa Revolcadero part of Acapulco is located near the airport and to the south of Acapulco Bay. The area boasts an extensive stretch of beach backed with a lush tropical lagoon. This part of Acapulco is also home to some resorts, and has recently undergone renovation. The third area of Acapulco is the Puerto Marquis region which lies north of the Playa Revolcadero. This region has until recently remained untouched and is only now seeing new developments and infrastructure.
Acapulco offers visitors a fantastic range of activities, including golf, trekking, hiking, walking, swimming and parasailing. Water sports are very popular throughout this area, with diving, snorkelling, swimming, and deep sea fishing being on offer. The beautiful countryside and surrounding beaches keep people coming back to this luscious part of Mexico every single year.

Acapulco is awesome for a quick vacation trip from Socal. But dont go during school break as you will find tons of wild youth behaving badly there.
