The Grand Canyon National Park is an awe-inspiring site that should not be missed if given the chance. The steep chasm was created by the Colorado River over a period of several million years, exposing nearly two billion years of the Earth’s history.

The Grand Canyon attracts visitors from all over the world to admire and behold this spectacular natural phenomenon. Panoramic views along the canyon can be seen offering unbeatable photo opportunities.
There are several hiking and walking trails in the National Park, with a variety of flora and fauna in the surroundings.  The floor of the canyon valley is accessible by foot or mule-back, as well as by boat or raft from the river. White water rafting on the river has become increasingly popular in recent years.  It is also possible to take a helicopter or a plane ride through the canyon for amazing vertical views of the chasm. These are generally available from Phoenix, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon National Park Airport. The Coconino Train is another option which travels at a leisurely speed offering varied photo opportunities of the Grand Canyon National Park.
